SEZAA

The Special Economic Zones Administration Agency, abbreviated as “SEZAA” is a public establishment of an industrial and commercial nature, endowed with legal personality and financial autonomy and having the Presidency of the Republic as its institutional anchor.
SEZAA is a strategic institution created by decree of the Head of State on July 28, 2022 in Chad. Under the direct supervision of the Presidency of the Republic, it is responsible for the establishment, regulation and management of special economic zones in the country.

Development Organization and Programming
- Definition and compliance with standards for infrastructure project management in ZES
- Monitoring the performance and growth of SEZs
- Definition of specifications with the concerned administrations
Promotion and Supervision of Special Economic Zones
- Communication and dissemination of information relating to SEZs to national and foreign investors
- Check compliance with developer specifications and approved companies
- Conformity control of activities allowed in the ZES in liaison with the concerned administrations
- Approval of any modification of the investment program for companies allowed in the SEZs
- Knowledge of disputes between developers, companies, administrations and local populations, and conduct of settlement procedures
